FAQs

What are the costs involved?

Enroute Coaching strives to be accessible for clients on all levels of income and for those in receipt of benefits, and therefore has developed a sliding scale of charges for individuals. I do not require any evidence or proof of income and trust potential clients to be honest about their financial situation and ability to pay. 6 sessions are recommended initially but these can be paid for session by session if preferred. Usual method of payment is via bank transfer prior to the sessions. I have flat rates for businesses and charitable organisations. An information sheet can be sent through to you on request.

I want to start Coaching now. What do I do?

You just need to contact Ros at Enroute Coaching (see Contact Us) so that a time can be arranged to have an initial conversation about your requirements in a little more depth and find out how you would like to be coached. If you are unsure what you want to work on initially, Ros can send through some tools that will help with this. An ‘Intake’ session will then be organised which will start the conversation about the coaching relationship, your preferred communication style and, most importantly, what you hope to achieve through the sessions.

How does Coaching work?

Different Coaches use different models to structure their sessions. I commonly use the GROW model which is an acronym for the areas explored – Goals, Reality, Options and Way forward. This model keeps you moving forward towards your goal. I will be asking you questions, listening to your responses, challenging you whilst all the time remaining non-judgemental regarding the details and not offering you any advice. Giving advice will prevent you from developing your own possibilities and solutions.

What will happen during a Coaching session?

Coaching can be carried out face to face in a locally agreed venue; over the Telephone; or by using SKYPE/Facetime etc. The usual procedure is that you would contact me after arranging a convenient time and date. You will be guided through a 6 point process.

1. Review the previous session, the actions that you completed and the learning that has come from that
2. Set the goal for the session
3. Consider where you are at the present moment with this goal
4. Consider your options in meeting this goal
5. Agree on some actions
6. Summarise the session before completing the session.

Each session will be 45-60 minutes long. I will manage the timing and ensure you gain full value from the session.

Where does the coaching take place?

This depends on your geographical location! If local to the coach (Keynsham, Bristol), face to face sessions can be arranged at a suitable venue agreed by both or if appropriate in your home. Sessions can also be held via the telephone, skype, face time etc.

Is it confidential?

A coaching session is completely confidential. I agree and comply to the Coaching Academy Code of Conduct which is available on request.

What does the Coach need from me during a session?

To make sure that your time is being well spent with your Coach you are encouraged to come to the session on time and fully prepared, with a goal or aspiration in mind that you would like to work towards. You will also need to ensure that you have a pen and paper, and any other items that you may think will be useful, such as a diary. Last but not least, I find a session works very well with a cup of tea or coffee in hand!
